I’ve received ENDLESS things in the mail from these guys – it’s on step 4 or 5 now. “I’m now one step close to winning….”. It’s the same crud PCH sends – put stamps here, pick magazines you want (even though no purchase is required, use the “magic” card to see if you’re also entitled to a “bonus” car in case you win…..it always starts with “You MAY already be a winner…..INCREDIBLY DECEPTIVE.
I’ve sent them a nastygram asking them to save a tree and stop sending me all of the unwanted mail. I then put all of the things that they’ve sent (which I’d saved because I couldn’t believe that a company I’d never dealt with had sent so much garbage – even more tha PCH) into the last envelope that they had sent me and marked it “RETURN TO SENDER”,
Sorry, this is a bit of a rant, I was going to post something about it in the forum – but this is a really sore spot – I receive something from them every other day – sad to see that a magazine that really is worth reading would go so far to try and solicit subscriptions. Needless to say, I’m not ordering one any time soon.
I’ll post to the forum if they actually answer (any bets on the likelihood of that??)
It seems that they have now lowered this monthly prize to $3,500.
It’s true, prize is down to $3,500… if I start getting junk mail, I’m going to lose it.
