Note that this is a worldwide contest, and I’d like your feedback on that. We aim to find the best contests exclusively for Canadians, but if there are great prizes available in contests for USA/Canada, we’ll post those too. Worldwide contests open the entry pool up to A LOT of additional countries, reducing your odds of winning. So, what say you, more of these? Less? None? Post a comment and let me know, thanks.

I think I would prefer Canada-only contests, because the odds of winning an international contest are so much worse!

I rarely enter the US/Canada contests as I feel my chances are relatively low to win. World wide entries would be almost impossible to win! Canada only please!
It’s a contest, world wide or not; there is still a chance to win. I like that!
chances of winning in a world open contest are non existant! not only that, think of all the spam, junk email one receives, when your info gets out there. I think that even just US and CD contests are hard to win and sometimes CD have to pay border taxes. For me, no thanks! i would prefer ONLY CANADIAN contests. thanks for asking.
I have won 3 contests that were open to Canada and the US. One from Steamy Kitchen, which is often posted on this site. I day post the contests and let individuals decide if they want to enter. Thank you for all of your hard work. It is greatly appreciated.
Thanks all for the feedback – really helpful. What’s clear to me right away is we don’t want to add a lot of worldwide contests, which would make it harder to find the Canadian-only ones. I’m more inclined to occasionally post one – the very best one – and make it clear it’s a worldwide contest.
