I recently won a $8000 trip with all expenses to Destin, Florida, to a beach resort. any other time this would have been exciting. it has taken me years of entering to win a vacation finally! it was only opened to Canadians only. I turned it down! This is my opinion only, I do not think it is safe to go to the U.S. right now, especially to a red state! too much chaos, and all of the recently experienced fired airline tower traffic personnel makes it iffy for me. What was interesting, after I told them no thanks. I was told I was the 5th chosen Canadian to ‘win’ this holiday! that 4 before me had also said NO! so wonderful to see such a determined bond of patriotism for our beautiful country! Elbows up eh! ;-))))
