I won a Bosch dishwasher with the Bosch Flex and Win Contest They emailed me 4.5 weeks ago, and I signed the forms. I haven’t heard from them since and the email that was used for the notification is no longer in service. How much longer do you think I should wait or should I try another means to contact them?
I have been plugging away at these contests for now over 4 years, couldnt win myself out of a paper bag. Shit for luck.

Probably. I got the same message last month from TheLovers. Plus YEL claimed I won their prize too but I recall spending all summer trying to unsubscribe from their frequent e-mails about their contests.
I refuse to click on either vendor’s link to claim the prizes.

I just got a message from The Lovers Store yesterday saying I have won the grand prize of a macbook pro. Did you have a contest from that site on here? I am trying to remember when I entered it.
I got the SAME email at 4:06am today. I clicked the link to claim it, but they never asked for a shipping address. I emailed them and it said the email address does not exist
I’d stay away from that one, Nancy…it seems very sketchy to me. We included a couple of their contests back in the summer, but they are on our ‘block’ list now.
Alright thank you they wanted me to click on a link to claim my prize i did it took me to there website, where l filled in my first name last name and email then l hit submit but l don’t remember entering this contest unless it was long time ago. They didn’t ask me to submit a contest release form or anything like most news stations get me to sign the release form instead in the email it said if you are as excited about winning as we are it’s optional to submit your photo and when l tried to reply to email l kept getting a mail delivery failure notice so red flags started going up in my mind
I received an email from TheLovers saying I won a MacBook. Sender and URLs seemed correct, before I proceeded to click any links. Filled out a form and then received another email with a coupon code and a link to their site.
Add MacBook to cart, apply the coupon code, and that’s the free prize.
After all that, now at the shipping step and wary of supplying my my address info. Mostly because all this TheLovers stuff was found in Gmail’s spambox (which I check because confirmation for every contests I enter from contestcanada.net ends up in there).
I got an email from YEL about winning a prize and nothing came of that. Just don’t want to get burned.

Hi Justin…a lot of people have gotten the message that they’ve won the MacBook. It seems very, very sketchy to me. I believe they may also been the same people who were running the YEL contests, as well as other sites that we block. I hope that helps.

Well that’s just great. I got the same email saying I won the MacBook yesterday and stupid me did the same thing. I filled out my shipping address and applied the code. They sent me another email today saying they hadn’t heard back from me and that I only had 3 days left to respond. I am so ticked off right now. What a rotten thing to do to people. No idea where my info is going to go now that they have it.

The Lovers, YEL network and one other affliated contest site all have the same issue-all those emails claiming people won prizes.
Avoid!!!
This week, a spam email from Josi at ContestG appeared. When I put the mouse over the e-mail sender, it seemed to be a variant of the Lovers site.
Put e-mail into Spam folder-did not open it.

Just won the Apple Watch from the “Weight Loss Buddy” contest! They shipped it by UPS from the US. Unfortunately, when I got the tracking number there are UPS “customs” fees of $114 that I have to pay. I’ve confirmed it’s actually UPS, it’s actually a customs/brokerage fee because it’s shipping from the states, and UPS collects it at the time of delivery–not the company. Well, at least it’s an Apple Watch!
Nice win! Too bad about the customs fees…seems pretty steep.

@nicole That site and some affliated ones (at least 3) are sending spam e-mails about prize wins. Don’t contact them. Spam will continue for months-just keep trying the unsubscribe option for now. Have had 4th and 5th spam entities show up in inbox or spam folders recently. Don’t engage them.
